What do you do?
I am an Alumni Counselor for KIPP Austin.
I am a community organizer with Real Community Austin.
I design jewelry. www.awaitingalice.etsy.com.
I paint murals. I go to screenings. I vote. I strive to be an active citizen.
I travel. I speak Spanish. I listen to live music. I climb. I drink coffee. I read.
I will never stop learning.
What does 'community' mean to you?
I am a member of several communities. Each is an association of diverse skills, talents and personalities, coexisting. To thrive and progressively evolve, these co-habitants must interact, collaborate, and build upon one another’s strengths.
